SOGGETTIVO PRIMORDIALE. Un percorso nell'espressionismo tedesco attraverso le collezioni dell'Osthaus Museum di Hagen
«Severals are the contact points that connect the German expressionism artistic movements together, as weel as, for that matter, severals are the shades tha give back the kaleidoscopic plot specific to internal trends. As it has reapeatedly been highlighted, it is a texture that, with the exception of speficic reccrring themes, makes difficult the election of a unitary principle.
Willing to identify a common thread among the different contributes developed into the Die Brücke (The bridge) and into the Der blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider)- the two principle movements of the beginning of German expressionism – it has to be searched among the topics covered. These topics could be clustered into three main areas: the restitution of the experience of nature, sometimes anthropized, but more often wild, the discovery of the expanding city and the study of the human figure inside both of these contexts».
