Moltissimi gli autori trattati, tra cui Alexander Calder, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Beverly Pepper, Leoncillo, Pino Pascali, Henry Moore. Tra le tante collaborazioni con artisti e architetti, incarichi istituzionali e direzioni di musei, importante fu il profondo legame tra Carandente e Spoleto, dove ad esempio nel 1962, alla direzione delle Arti Visive del Festival dei Due Mondi, egli realizzò, tra le altre iniziative, una grande mostra con 104 opere di 53 tra i più noti scultori contemporanei, una delle prime prove di connubio tra la scultura moderna e il tracciato urbanistico antico.
