FRANCO GIULI. OPERE DAL 2008 AL 2016

The catalogue of the exhibition Franco Giuli. Opere dal 2008 al 2016 ⎼ held at the Museo Bilotti – Aranciera of Villa Borghese in Rome from the 7th July to the 4th September 2016 ⎼ was edited by Bruno Corà. By means of the images of the exhibited works and of a critical essay written by the editor, the catalogue traces the artist’s recent works, the material explorations and the developments of pictorial three-dimensional works .

«Due to a sophisticated and expert handling of the cardboard, which is already provided with its own colour, and due to additional and subtractive skilled actions aimed at creating collages, Giuli embraces the multi-material art, which was also represented by the Futurism, the Constructivism, the Dadaism and the Materialism. The artist defines his own signature style not devoid of provocative echoes trespassing in plastic and architectural fields are present».

A biography together with  a selection of solo exhibitions (1962- present day) and a series of photographs complete the volume.
